Biography of Andrea Bocelli
Andrea Bocelli was born on September 22, 1958. in Lajatico, province of Tuscany , Italy . Until 1980, Andrea Bocelli lived in his native village of Logjatico, Tuscany. At the age of six, he began studying the piano, and later mastered the flute and saxophone.
Suffering from poor eyesight, he becomes completely blind at the age of 12 after an accident. As a teenager, Andrea wins several song competitions and also becomes a soloist in the school choir. After graduation, he enters the law faculty of the University of Pisa, and receives the title of doctor.
For Bocelli, absorbed in opera music, the dream and goal of his life was the desire to be a great tenor. Franco Corelli takes the young man as an apprentice. It takes place in Turin, where Andrea arrives in search of a dream come true. This ended her career as a lawyer. Thus the young tenor begins serious vocal training during the day, and at night earns his living by performing in restaurants.
